We're thrilled to welcome Alyssa, our newest team member who will be assisting us as a Social Media and Communications intern. Hailing from The University of Texas at Austin, Alyssa recently graduated with a degree in Public Relations and Entrepreneurship. Her passion for non-profit work, cultivated through years of volunteering for local organizations such as Austin Pets Alive and The Central Texas Food Bank, led her to find the perfect opportunity with us.
Alyssa's interest in merging her educational background with her personal interests in non-profit causes brought her to our organization. She discovered us on LinkedIn, where she stumbled upon a network of fellow UT Austin alumni and current students who had previously interned with us. Through this network, she became captivated by our mission and impact.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Alyssa is a vibrant individual who embraces life to the fullest. On her days off, you can often find her spending quality time with her closest friends, engaging in various outdoor activities to stay active, and immersing herself in the vibrant culture of her beloved city, Austin.
Post-graduation, Alyssa has her sights set on attending St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio, TX. Her passion for helping others and advocating for social justice drives her to pursue a career in immigration law. We're incredibly proud to support her journey and provide a platform where she can continue to grow and make a positive impact.
